One of the hardest parts of creating a health regimen is sticking to it. We can talk all day about what we’d like to do or what we envision ourselves doing, even going so far as to come up with the series of steps that it will take to make our dreams happen. But often we find ourselves waiting for “the right time” to get started.

Truth is: there is no right time. But, by taking the first few steps towards a happier, healthier you, you’re already on the right track. One of the most important parts of the 84-day program is just getting started right away, and staying committed to what you’re going to do. This requires mindfulness.

What does that mean? The term mindfulness is usually used in meditation and yoga practices for deep breathing exercises, working towards self-awareness, or  following through with your to-do list.

Psychology Today defines mindfulness as “a state of active, open attention on the present,” Mindfulness requires that instead of letting life pass you by, one must live in the moment and awaken to experience life.

You might wonder why practicing mindfulness is important, or how to do it. The first answer is that people who practice mindfulness live longer. Those who are mindful of their bodies tend to take better care of themselves.  They listen to their bodies.  Mindfulness reduces cognitive stress by promoting a positive attitude and a positive stat-of-mind.  Reducing stress lowers cortisol levels.

So how do you practice mindfulness?

There are small things that can easily you practice mindfulness, like taking a 5-minute break from work to sit quietly. Take 5 minutes in a quiet place to sit or lie down and allow all of your muscles to relax, take deep breaths, pray and allow your thoughts to quiet. Stillness of the mind is difficult for many people. So to help you, pick two words (one negative, one positive) to take in and release. For example, as you breathe in, breathe in peace, as your breathe out, let go of anxiety.

Studies show that there is a direct correlation with healing and mindfulness and DHEA levels in the body. DHEA is a base building block for hormones in the body.  DHEA balances out the bad effects of the stress hormone, cortisol that we mentioned above; but after the age of 25 our DHEA levels steadily decrease.

In order to promote sharpness of mind and energy after age 35, a DHEA cream supplement is really beneficial because DHEA not only counterbalances the bad effects of cortisol but also helps improve deep sleep at night.  Basically, DHEA helps to reinvigorate your body and helps you focus on working toward a healthier you.

Twist 25 DHEA creamA great supplement to add to your regimen along with the mindfulness is Twist 25 DHEA Cream, more effective than oral DHEA supplements because it is applied as a cream, allowing the DHEA to be gently absorbed in the skin where it is used by the body anyway, and not be destroyed by the liver. Twist 25 DHEA cream is safe, doesn’t require a prescription, and can be found online at www.Twist25.com.

Mindfulness can be found in 5 minutes inside you.  Both mindfulness and Twist 25 DHEA cream will help you to take better care of your health and well-being; …and if you decide to do the 84 day challenge or start on a health routine of your own . mindfulness and Twist 25 DHEA cream can help you do it well.
