Spring is here and the summer is just around the corner, which means…soon it will be time to pull-out those swimsuits. So are you beach body ready? If not, here are 5 easy ways to get beach body ready so you can squeeze, I mean slip, into that swimsuit:

Set a Goal

Without a goal, you’ll never get to where you want to be. Now, you don’t have to set a weight goal. You could set a waistline goal or maybe just a body fat goal. Whatever it is, make sure it’s something that’s both challenging but achievable.

Most women’s bathing suits are sized a little small, which makes a lot of women nervous. But, really, that’s a good thing because if you’re muscled or in shape, the suit is going to look amazing on you. So, sometimes, it’s not about weight as much as it is about how fit you are.

Stay Hydrated

It’s not intuitive, but drinking more water will help you flush water out of your body. Weird, right? You have to drink more water, because that tells the body to release what it’s storing. The female body, especially, is prone to retain water, especially during that special time of the month.

So, if you want to look better, and feel less bloated, stay hydrated.

Eat Better

It’s no secret that dieting is an integral part of shaping your body. In fact, some say that dieting produces 80 percent of the results of a “beach body.” Time to start eating clean! Ditch bread, pasta, and junk food, and opt for more vegetables. But, it’s not just vegetables that are going to get you there. You need healthy fats too, like olive oil, coconut oil, and lard and tallow that’s been rendered from pasture-raised animals (which makes the fat-rich in fat-soluble vitamins).

Finally, don’t forget about meat. Mix it up a bit between fish, chicken, lamb, beef, and pork. Try to eat meats that have a balanced omega 3 to omega 6 ratio.

Lift Weights

Most girls don’t like weightlifting because they believe it will make them look bulky. Jenna, who lifts 2x her body weight, is not musclebound. Neither are these girls who lift wickedly heavyweights.
